Farewell, Iowa... Hello, Ohio!

Yes, the rumors are true... The Lord is moving our family to Ohio!

It's been a crazy last couple of weeks since we found out that we would be moving (at that point without knowing the destination), began packing, and learned that we would be going to Ohio. Baby #3 is due in about 6 weeks, so this transition had to happen quickly!

We are saddened to leave Calvary Bible Church and Volga City as we have come to love the people and community here, but we are trusting the Lord's leading and look forward to see what He has in store for the future. For the next 9 months or so, we will be serving in New Franklin, OH, with existing Village Missionaries Mark and Donna Archer at Valley Community Church. Where will we be at this time next year? As Josiah likes to say, "Only God knows!" We look forward to being placed on a new field in a church and community awaiting missionaries.

We are so thankful for all of the love and support that has been shown to our family during this time of transition, as change is always a hard thing. A special thanks to all of our friends here in Clayton County who have loved our family this past year and who have expressed sadness at our parting - we will certainly miss you all! <3 Thanks too to all of our friends, family, and supporters who have reached out during this time - we so appreciate your love and encouragement!

"From one man [God] made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us." Acts 17:26-27
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
