Lots to Do - So Little Time

We have lots to do in the next couple of weeks including moving! In this entry we're sharing a bit about our support update, a local church presentation we will be sharing, our unofficial move date, and our Welcome Baby party.

 Support Update
Currently we have $600/month in support pledges for our ministry with Village Missions. This means we are only $100/month short of our minimum which is the amount we are required to reach before we can officially start our internship with Allen and Diane at Liberty Chapel. This also means that we are $800/month short in pledges of our goal for a long-term, sustainable ministry ($1400/month). If you or someone you know are considering supporting our ministry please view our Support Page (click here) or if you have questions, don't hesitate to email us at clelandcr@gmail.com.

Local Church Presentation
Monday night we were able to visit with Bill and Lana Keen (our previous pastor and his wife in Warsaw, IN), and we are lined up to visit with their church on Sunday, June 1. I (Chris) will be preaching and presenting our ministry to the congregation at the 10:35 morning service. If you'd like directions to the church you can find it on a map here: New Harvest Church of the Nazarene. We are excited to meet with some old friends and to share our calling to ministry with the work of Village Missions.

Unofficial Moving Date
Unofficial? Yes - it's just that. Since we have not reached our minimum in support pledges we cannot establish an official move date, so we have made do and have set an unofficial move date: Monday, June 16. (Don't worry - our mentors know about this!) This is the day that we hope to have the moving truck and the caravan of vehicles heading to our new home in Crawfordsville, IN, for our year-long internship at Liberty Chapel.

Yes and of course that means that it could change, but - Lord willing - it will work out (and it seems as though it will). This of course really does imply that there is a lot to do - continuing support raising, packing, etc - since June 16 is only three and a half weeks away.

Welcome Baby Party
This Saturday, May 24, we will be hosting a Welcome Baby party. This will be a time for our family and friends to meet and welcome Baby Charis into our lives; since we plan to be moving mid-June, we wanted to get together one last time with anyone who is free and take the opportunity to celebrate the newest addition to our family. If you would like to attend, the party is going to be held at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene (Fort Wayne, IN). It will be from 2-5pm in the Youth Center.
